Do You Need Dental Implants? Find Out Here!

Do you struggle with teeth loosening or deformation? Do you wear dentures or have suffered bone damage due to periodontal disease? Have you lost teeth due to congenital disease or an accident?

If your answer to any of those questions is yes, maybe dental implants are for you!

Tooth implants are replacements for your tooth root. They're used to provide foundation and stability to replacement teeth. They're designed to look and feel like your own teeth, and since they fuse with the bone, they are considered a permanent procedure.

Teeth implants are perfect for any patient that struggles with teeth deformation, loosening, or loss, whether it is on a single tooth, in multiple teeth, or the entire upper and lower jaw:

  • For a single tooth, dental implant placement can go both ways. Whether you had the tooth missing for a considerable amount of time, in which case bone augmentation is required, or the tooth is still attached to your gums but loose, which can be removed before the dental implant placement, to ensure an easier job and neater results. We use two different materials in our center to replace a single tooth: titanium, which makes a two-part implant, and zirconia, which makes a one-piece implant. We'll choose the right one for you, depending on your conditions and preferences.

  • For multiple teeth, precision in the implant placement is crucial because the biomechanics of the bone, bite, and rest of the teeth must be respected - and that's why some gum or bone alteration will be necessary to achieve so. Just as with single tooth replacement, multiple teeth replacement also offers two different types of implants.

  • For all the teeth: this is the proper procedure for people who use dentures or have suffered some traumatic accident that affected their upper or lower jaw and needs to undergo restoration. The patient will receive four to six implants in this process and get a complete set of replacement teeth per arch.

The great thing about replacement teeth is that their results are evident from the very first time.
